It took months of planning, hard work and dedication, but it was all worthwhile when TEAM ADI took an active part in the Jerusalem Marathon on March 13.
26 children and young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities from ADI Jerusalem took part in the great race, accompanied by staff, friends, family โ and a score of police volunteers, who have been training the group for the Community Race.ย Cheered on by the crowd, residents completed the 800 meter track โ in wheelchairs, walkers, or fitted with special assistive mobility devices โ and every one of them finished the course!
We are so proud of every step taken by ADIโs residents, who have once again proven themselves to be real winners.
