Reach your Philanthropic and Financial Goals with a Planned Gift

Learn how leaving a legacy with ADI will ensure Israel’s most vulnerable citizens reach their greatest potential, while continuing to meet your current financial needs.

YOU HAVE QUESTIONS, WE CAN HELP.

Charitable gift planning affords you opportunities to have an outsized impact on the causes that matter most to you with the possibility of reducing or eliminating current and future tax liabilities, creating income for you or your loved ones, and preserving wealth for future generations of your family.

Recent and pending changes to the tax code (Tax Cut and Jobs Act, CARES Act, CAA, and BBB) contain provisions incentivizing you to plan how, what, and when you give to charity. If you have recently experienced or are anticipating changes in your personal life or business, we encourage you to partner with us to ensure you’re taking full advantage of these incentives.

ADI’s Legacy and Planned Giving Department is a ready resource for you and your advisors. We welcome you to have a confidential, no-obligation conversation to align your personal financial situation with your philanthropic goals.

How Will You

Leave Your Legacy?

A legacy gift enables you to support ADI, secures the financial needs of your loved ones, and provides you with tax benefits. Legacy gifts of all sizes combine help us reimagine rehabilitation and advance ability for all those touched by disability.

By including ADI in your will or trust, naming the organization as a beneficiary of all or part of a life insurance policy, or taking advantage of other giving opportunities, you can preserve your assets now and support ADI for years to come. Your gift will have a real, lasting impact.

Let us help you make the gift that’s right for you. Request a confidential, no-obligation conversation to get started.

Join the ADI Legacy Society

When you make a planned legacy gift to ADI, you’ll become part of the  ADI Legacy Society, joining other supporters and friends who are making ADI’s vision a reality.

In recognition of your generosity and forethought, all ADI Legacy Society members receive:

  • Name on a donor recognition wall in the ADI Jerusalem Center or the Negev-Nahalat Eran Village
  • Featured on the ADI website and newsletter with your picture and story (unless anonymity is requested)

Is ADI already in your legacy giving plans? Please let us know so we can properly thank you and make sure your gift will be used as you’ve intended.

How to Give

Not only do you have options for how your gift will be used, you also have options on what to give and how to give. There are gifts that cost you nothing now, gifts that pay you income, and gifts that allow you to decide what happens when.

GIFTS FROM YOUR
WILL GENERAL BEQUEST

Through a provision in your written and executed will, you can make a gift in the form of cash, securities, real estate or personal property. There are many types of bequests. Choose the one that best fits your needs and intentions.

BENEFICIARY GIFTS
RETIREMENT ACCOUNTS

Naming ADI as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan asset such as a 401(k), 403(b), IRA, Keogh, profit-sharing pension plan or other donor-advised funds, will accomplish a charitable goal while realizing significant tax savings.

GIFTS OF STOCK AND / OR
APPRECIATED STOCK

When you donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares instead of cash, you’ll receive charitable deductions at full, fair market value while reducing capital gains impact.

MAKE A CHARITABLE IRA ROLLOVER

If you’re 70 ½ or older, you can make a gift directly from your IRA to ADI. While there is no charitable deduction for a rollover gift, you do avoid the income tax on the donated portion of your required minimum distribution.

DONOR ADVISED FUNDS BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION AND GRANTS

Designate ADI as a beneficiary to receive all or a portion of the balance of your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) through your fund administrator. You also can make a grant to us at any time from your donor-advised fund.

GIFTS OF LIFE INSURANCE
BENEFICIARY DESIGNATION & PAID-UP POLICIES

Name ADI as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy; donate an existing, paid-up life insurance policy you no longer need; or purchase a new life insurance policy and name ADI as the owner and beneficiary.

GIFTS THAT PAY YOU
CHARITABLE GIFT ANNUITY

You can turn underperforming assets (stock, cash in a savings account, CDs, savings bonds, etc.) into a gift to ADI that provides income to you. Your Charitable Gift Annuity will give you quarterly, fixed payments for life and tax benefits, too.
