Students of the Special Education School at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran prepared for Family Day, officially celebrated on the last day of the Hebrew month of Shevat in recognition of the yahrzeit of Henrietta Szold, with special classroom and inter-active computer activities.

As paper hearts hung down from ceilings, instilling an atmosphere of warmth and affection in the classroom, children used Smart iPads to make greeting cards for their parents and families. Other students, residents of the Negev rehabilitation village, spoke to family members via video call, sending and receiving smiles and virtual hugs to mark the day.

The ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran family โ€“ staff, residents and volunteers โ€“ wishes everyone a Happy Family Day, filled with love, caring and inclusion.
