Champions of Inclusion: Cultural Competency Training at ADI

At ADIโ€™s residential facilities across the country, medical and paraprofessionals from multiple religious and cultural backgrounds check their differences and political views at the door to work together to help Israeli children with severe complex disabilities โ€“ from Jewish, Arab, and Druze backgrounds โ€“ grow and thrive. As such, our teambuilding exercises must incorporate cultural competency training.

Last week, the staff at ADIโ€™s residential facility in Jerusalem participated in activities that enhanced their abilities to communicate effectively with their co-workers from different cultures and faiths. Initiatives like these empower each employee and helps the staff work together as a cohesive team to assist our ADI residents in realizing their greatest potentials. ADI is not only making a difference in the lives of Israelโ€™s disability community but building a better and more caring world by promoting diversity, equity and inclusion on every front.

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
