ADI’s Tal Enjoys Israel’s Geek Picnic – as a Special Guest of Jerusalem Police!

During the Passover break, an international exhibition called the “Geek Picnic,” a celebration of robotics and futuristic technology, visited Israel for the first time ever. Thousands of technology lovers from around the country poured into Gan Sacher in Jerusalem to learn about and experience virtual reality, 3D printing, drone racing, and so much more. The tickets for the event were rather pricey, so many technology enthusiasts, like ADI Jerusalem resident Tal, were left on the sidelines. When our friends at the Jerusalem Police Department found out how much Tal wanted to attend the festival, they sprang into action to make his dreams come true. Commander Amir Arzani and Operations Officer Oren Sasson secured VIP tickets and arranged a police escort for wheelchair-bound Tal and his ADI caretaker. Tal spent all morning at the exhibition enjoying the hands-on activities and interactive shows – and he had the time of his life! The Jerusalem Police are truly the guardian angels of ADI Jerusalem. Thank you, Commander Arzani and Officer Sasson!
