ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran residents were thrilled to take part in a day of fun initiated by members of the Israel Civil Administration.
Residents were led by professional guides on a challenging jeep tour, driving through orchards and fields, delighting in the Negevโs spring blossoming, bathing in a fresh spring along the way, singing and finally picnicking under the shade of the surrounding date trees.
The accompanying civil administration staff were duly impressed by the dedication of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eranโs dedicated staff and wonderful National Service volunteers.
At the end of the trip, Marco Ben-Shabbat, unit director, remarked: โAs unit members, it is important for us to volunteer at least once a year. Last year, we visited the village in what was a very moving and inspirational trip, and we decided that our next volunteer experience would be together with residents of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran. We came in order to give to the community, and in the end we received much more than what we gave.โ
