On Sunday evening, June 23, the Young Leadership Committee of the British Friends of ALEH hosted its second annual quiz night event to benefit the children of ALEH at the Adam & Eve Pub in London. For the second straight year, the wildly popular fundraiser attracted more than 50 young professionals, who were excited to both participate in the fun and creative team trivia competition and learn about ALEHโs expansive network of residential and rehabilitative care facilities for children with severe complex disabilities across Israel. The relaxed atmosphere made the evening most enjoyable, with many participants commenting that it was the best charity event they had ever attended.
In the end, thanks to the enthusiasm, dedication and vision of ALEHโs brilliant Young Leadership Committee (Daniel, Aimee Tenzer, Aimee Belchak, Shoshi, Alex, Talia and Gemma), the event raised ยฃ1,400 to provide medical equipment for the ALEH residents, a persistent urgent need. We are so grateful to these young leadership superstars for organizing, promoting and hosting such a meaningful event, introducing new audiences to the ALEH mission, and helping us promote disability inclusion and further enhance the care of our ALEH residents. All in attendance made it clear that they are eagerly awaiting next yearโs event!
