ADI Negev’s Smart Classroom is equipped with a mobile communication computer, touch screen and projector that enable the teacher to project the communication board directly onto the wall. This enables all the students in the class to see the board simultaneously and interact with it.
The teacher can also show students a video or picture related to the topic being taught by projecting onto a large screen so that everyone, including those with visual impairments can see the material clearly. With communication whiteboards, students can also project symbols or pictures of their choice directly onto the board. Alternative communication devices such as these encourage students to participate in lessons despite their inability to speak.
