WONDER WOMEN! 💪🏻🌟 Last week, staff members from ADI Jerusalem, ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and our 'ADI 4 U' disability resources hotline met in Jerusalem for a special professional development seminar. They learned from each other and experts in the field about the most effective ways to communicate and partner with the parents of children with severe disabilities. Our professionals consider it an honor and privilege to care for the ADI residents and special education students, and they are constantly looking for new opportunities to expand their skill sets and effectively advocate for every member of the ADI family and enhance their lives. These exceptional professionals are the gold standard, and we are so proud that they lead the way for ADI!

💚 RAISED ON 'ADI MAGIC'! ✨ Tehilla has been a part of the ADI family for years and is now raising her children in one of the only truly inclusive communities in the world. ♿🌎 Tehilla's love affair with ADI began in 2015, when she served as a National Service volunteer at ADI Jerusalem. She was so dedicated that she continued on as a volunteer after her National Service had concluded and made a point of including the ADI residents and special education students in her wedding celebration (she came to the center on her wedding day to take pictures with her "brothers and sisters"). In 2021, after years of volunteerism, Tehilla and her young family moved into the Staff & Student Village at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, and this past September, Tehilla gave birth to a bouncing baby named Sorek - the very first child to be raised from birth at the rehabilitation village. Tehilla now works as a teacher at the village's rehabilitative daycare center and has taken an active roll in building the inclusive community that has taken root at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran. It's a kinder, more accepting world thanks to passionate young leaders like Tehilla! 🙏🏻

♿💚 The perfect activity to prepare for Jewish Disability Awareness, Acceptance and Inclusion Month (#JDAIM)? A tour of our ADI centers, of course! To gain a better understanding of what true disability inclusion really means, a group of exceptional young leaders from Midreshet Rachel v’Chaya toured ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran yesterday, and they were overcome with emotions. These warm, spirited, insightful and kind young women enjoyed every minute of their visit and were blown away by our integrated kindergarten, hydrotherapy pool, special education school, Therapuetic Horse Stable, Safari Petting Zoo and Green Care Farm. But it was the specialized care and personal attention received by each and every resident and special education student that truly stole their hearts, and a deeper understanding of the inclusive community that we are building – one centered around empowerment and visibility – that opened their minds to the incredible societal possibilities. Welcome to the ADI family! Here’s to the promise of true disability inclusion! 💚♿
