What better way to celebrate a Bar Mitzvah than with a TWINNING BAR MITZVAH!

As his Bar Mitzvah approached, Yonah Saban decided that he wanted to use his new status as a Jewish adult to make a real impact. So, he reached out to ADI and asked to be “twinned” with an ADI resident who would also be celebrating his Bar Mitzvah soon. To Yonah’s delight he was paired with Dan, a resident at ADI’s facility in Gedera, who shares a love of sports. After their first meeting, Yonah knew that he had a friend for life.

A few days ago, Yonah and Dan danced together at a joint Bar Mitzvah party at a synagogue near Gedera. Yonah noted that sharing his special day with Dan made the experience so much more meaningful, and he plans on making regular play dates with Dan in the weeks and months ahead. In addition to stopping by ADI to play soccer with Dan, Yonah has invited Dan to watch him play little league baseball. Yonah plays for the Yad Binyamin Wolves, and he is dedicating every hit he gets this season to Dan.

Please support Yonah’s campaign to provide Dan with the vocational workshops he needs to take the next developmental leaps: http://newADI.levit.dev/donation/yonahs-twinning-bar-mitzvah/
