Why? Because everyone can make a HUGE impact on the lives of others – no matter your age.
With just a little bit of effort and creativity, YOU can change the lives of kids your age who can’t help themselves.
Many of the kids at ADI need support to do the things that we all take for granted – eating, washing, learning, and playing. But with your help, they will be able to go to school, enjoy music and art, take trips and have fun!
ADI (pronounced ah-dee) is the Hebrew word for a radiant and multifaceted jewel. ADI is also an acronym for Ability. Diversity. Inclusion.
ADI is a warm and loving home that cares for babies, children, teens and adults with many kinds of disabilities. A person with severe disabilities requires special care, special equipment and special treatments. Many families are not able to provide all of this support by themselves and decide that their child will enjoy a better life by living in a place that can give them all of the professional care they need. ADI is that special place, providing care, therapy, education, rehabilitation and, most of all, lots of love to people of all ages with severe intellectual and physical disabilities and other medical complications.
ADI has two branches: ADI Jerusalem and ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran.
In addition to the people who live at ADI, people from surrounding neighborhoods and towns come to ADI for different treatments and therapies. ADI happily helps everyone, each according to their needs.
As your Bar/Bat Mitzvah approaches, you can help ADI provide the best possible care to residents and students. You can twin with an ADI resident and support him/her by helping to fund therapy sessions, or you can pick a project and raise money for special equipment.
There are so many ways to show you care. Contact us and we will be more than happy to help you find a way to add special meaning to your special day by helping our special children.
