Yom Hazikaron 2022

ADI centers in Jerusalem and the Negev remembered those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our security and safety.

At ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, representatives of local police forces joined residents and students of the village’s Special Education School for a solemn ceremony, lighting memorial candles in salute of those fallen in the line of duty and victims of terror.

Accessible switches enabled students and residents at ADI Jerusalem to light candles and lower the flag to half-mast in memory of those lost during the past 74 years. Particularly touching was the memorial to Yosef Cohen, a soldier in the Netzach Yehuda company who volunteered at ADI Jerusalem shortly before he was killed in battle.

Our sincerest condolences to all of the families who lost loved ones. May they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem and together may we share only joy and happiness in the future.

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
