Volunteers from the Mechinat Meitarim Lachish gap-year program finished up their year-long stint of volunteering at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran this week and began preparing themselves for the next leg of their life journey as soldiers in the IDF.

The amazing volunteers spent the year caring for residents, students and participants in the ADI Negev-Ofakim Vocational Workshop at Beit HaYotzer, and during that time they were always on the go, initiating programs and dreaming up new ways to enliven life at the village.

Yuval, a Mechina participant, summed up the year-long experiences, “I want to thank you for letting me volunteer in this special and magical place. A place that accepts everyone as they are. I know that none of us will forget the village or Beit HaYotzer. I hope to be back often.”

Thank you, Meitarim Lachish, for a spending a significant part of your life with us. Good luck and stay well. We look forward to seeing you soon.
