During his first meeting with Maj. Gen. (Res.) Doron Almog at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, Taiwanese Ambassador Yun-Sheng Chi explained that the Government of Taiwan was interested in lending its support to the rehabilitative village. In June, he returned to ADI Negev to make due on his promise, donating a pair of standers for the new special-education school wing, which will open in the coming school year. Currently, only 24 countries have diplomatic relations with Taiwan. The State of Israel is lucky to have strong ties with the Taiwanese Government, and its decision to support ADI is a moving display of friendship and humanity.
