In keeping with the digital revolution, 39 special education teachers at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran received iPads, donated by the Atuna Foundation in conjunction with Bank Masad and the Israeli Teachers’ Union as part of the “Digital Toolbox for Every Special Education Teacher” progam.
This important program has taken on added significance during the coronavirus age, enabling teachers to continue communicating with students and offer advice to parents despite lockdowns and quarantines.
The staff at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran’s special education school will participate in study forums to learn about different programs and become acquainted with the various used of technical equipments.
Avi Wortzman, CEO of the ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran rehabilitation village, said in response that he is, “very happy to join the important Atuna Foundation project. Using the iPads, teachers will be able to work with the students, using technological advancement to help students develop their potential, communicate with parents and reduce the educational gap by accessing accessible material.”
