To mark the International Day of people with a disability which was mentioned around the world on the 3rd of December, The British Friends of ADI held a cooking demonstration in London with the wonderful Italian cook Silvia Nacamulli. Mrs Shlomit Grayevsky, the manager of ADIโs centre in Jerusalem came especially from Israel, and presented the work which ADI does to enhance the quality of life of hundreds of severely disabled children in Israel, and to give them more opportunities to grow and realise their full potential. The day was very interesting and enjoyable, and the guests said how impressed and touched they were by the warmth and professional services which are provided by ADI at its 4 centres around Israel. The event was generously hosted at the home of Mrs Deborah Mantzur, and the money we raised on the day will allow us to purchase an assistive stander for ADI Jerusalem.
