“And thou shall observe the Feast of Weeks, even of the first-fruits of wheat harvest . . .”
(Exodus 34:22)
Once again, residents and employees of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and their families celebrated Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, at the village’s accessible amphitheater, with activity booths, flower arrangements, food stands and games, as well as a lively show by the Kolot Band.
In keeping with the custom to eat dairy during the holiday, Aliza, mother of village resident Ayala, and Tzivia, a Tnuva employee, arrived at the village to distribute an amazing array of delicious milk products. For many years now, Tnuva has graciously supplied the village with an assortment of top-line daily products in honor of Shavuot.
The holiday of Shavuot, the holiday of the harvest of the first fruits, symbolizes rejuvenation, a time to reap and sow anew.
At ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, staff and families join together to continue sowing the seeds of hope, with dedication and love for all.
