Shabbat Shalom at Bnei Dekalim

Everyone likes to go away for Shabbat now and then, to enjoy a change of atmosphere and spend time with friends.

While the logistics of travelling may entail extra planning for ADI Jerusalem residents, our amazing volunteers take it all in stride and find ways to overcome every obstacle.

Most recently, 15 residents and as many volunteers travelled to Bnei Dekalim, a community settlement in southern Israel connected to the Lakhish Regional Council, for a heartwarming Shabbat in a welcoming and friendly environment. Young people from Bnei Dekalimโ€™s local Bnei Akiva branch joined ADI volunteers, infusing the Shabbat get-away with extra activities and excitement.

A special Shabbat, with special people, for special people, was enjoyed by all.
