Receiving Wings: ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Residents Cheer on IAF Pilots

Residents of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran were invited as special guests to the IAF graduation ceremony for the fourth consecutive year, looking on as the newly winged pilots were honored in a prestigious ceremony.

This yearโ€™s ceremony was held as the Israeli Air Force, the long arm of the Israel Defense Force, marked the 70th year since its inception. Since that time, the IAF has taken part in every operation and conflict, inside and outside the Stateโ€™s borders, amassing an illustrious battle legacy, with fighters and uplifting personal stories elevating and glorifying the 70 years since its founding.

Village residents exhibited their excitement throughout the impressive ceremony, cheering together with the pilotsโ€™ families, waving flags as the planes passed overhead and swaying to the music of the accompanying band.

The strength of humanityโ€™s chain is measured by the way it relates to its weakest link. The combination of outstanding fighter pilots and ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran residents loudly proclaims that each and every one of us is made of the same human fabric.
