On March, 16, 2016, the CanADIan Friends of ADI hosted a beautiful evening with Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks. The sold-out event featured presentations by the Chairs of the CanADIan Friends of ADI; Shlomit Grayevsky, Director of ADI Jerusalem; and Rabbi Sacks, who eloquently tackled “Confronting Religious Violence” in a way that only he can.
Rabbi Sack’s moving words about ADI resonated with everyone present: ” “It has been our mission to teach the world the deeply paradoxical but profound truths – [that] if you want to judge the strength of a nation – see how it cares for the weak. If you want to judge the wealth of a nation, see how it cares for the poor. If you want a nation to be truly invulnerable – see how it cares for the vulnerable. If only… what I would love to do is show the world the work of ADI ….”
We are SO THANKFUL to the event sponsors for investing in the futures of Israel’s most severely disabled children. With your help, every Israeli child will have the opportunity to reach their fullest potentials.
