Purim 2024 at ADI

Volunteers and young man decorated for Purim מתנדבים ובחור מקושטים לפורים

Oxygen-dependent children from Jerusalem’s new respiratory unit and rehabilitation patients and recovering IDF soldiers from the Negev’s Kaylie Rehabilitation Medical Center joined ADI students, residents, staff and volunteers to mark the holiday of Purim, celebrating the miraculous overturn of Haman’s evil decree to annihilate the Jewish people.

Under the shadow of the recent Hamas infiltration and the ongoing Iron Swords War, this year’s Purim celebrations marking the resilience and continued existence of the Jewish people took on additional meaning. Special prayers were offered for the release of our still missing hostages and the wellbeing of IDF soldiers in the battlefield, and ADI residents and staff put extra effort into packaging and delivering Mishlochi Manot (gift packages of food) to bring happiness and joy and increase solidarity, harmony and unity.
