President Reuven Rivlin Tours ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran

“During my visit here today, you all gave me so much hope, so much love, and so much light. It is a light that will provide me with inspiration and strength, not for a day or two, but for many days to come . . . what a wonderful torch you have lit here, this little slice of goodness . . .Here you do miracles . . .Thank you for establishing the ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran rehabilitation village, this precious light that guides us all.”

President Reuvin (Ruvi) Rivlin concluded his Chanukkah visit to ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran with these warm words, summing up feelings inspired by his tour of the village and personal meetings with residents and outpatients undergoing therapeutic rehabilitation.

Major-Gen. (res.) Doron Almog, village chairman, Avi Wortzman, CEO, and Shai Hajaj, head of the Merhavim Regional Council welcomed President Rivlin to the village and accompanied him on a tour of the new neuro-orthopedic rehabilitation hospital presently under construction at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran. President Rivlin also visited the village’s integrative kindergarten for children with and without disabilities, after which he honored village residents and staff by lighting the candles on the final night of Chanukkah.

We are so grateful to President Rivlin for his inspiring leadership, warm friendship and unwavering support, and we look forward to welcoming his back to ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran very soon.
