Shay Maizel saw a short video of Yair on Facebook and was captivated by the adorable young child as he made his way around the playground with the help of a walker.
Together with his friends in the IAF, Shay arranged a visit for Yair and his family at the Teiman Airfield in the Negev, giving Yair an up-close look and feel of small aircraft.
A little wary of going up in the air, Yair was satisfied with watching other aircraft take off and land as he sat in the pilot and co-pilot seat with his newfound friend.
Thank you, Shay. You may have stayed on the ground, but you flew over and above in bringing happiness and excitement for Yair and his family.
