ONE THOUSAND MITZVOT FOR ADI!

When our partners at the Hochberg Preparatory School (Posnack East) in Hallandale Beach, Florida, heard that our ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran residents needed extra support during these scary and uncertain times, their Parent Teacher Association challenged the students in Kindergarten through 5th grade to do one thousand mitzvot, promising to donate one dollar to ADI for each mitzvah completed.

The students rose to the challenge, doing beautiful acts of kindness and enhancing their spirituality while keeping the ADI family in mind. One family was so moved by the initiative that they matched the $1,000 raised. Fourth grader Lenny Kotler was also deeply inspired by the school-wide effort, and selflessly donated his birthday money to the campaign, adding another $300 to the total.

Yesterday, ADI’s North American Director of Development Elie Klein kicked off his month-long emergency fundraising trip with a special visit to Posnack, where he was presented with a check for $2,300 and shown a touching video compilation of all the mitzvot that were done.

We are so impressed by this exceptional campaign and so grateful to the Posnack students, parents and teachers for coming to our aid in our time of greatest need.

May the merit of your one thousand mitzvot keep our ADI family safe.

THANK YOU for illuminating the darkness with your glorious light!

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
