During these days of political uncertainty in Israel, it is refreshing that some politicians turn their back on the turmoil to face the needs of the truly vulnerable members of our society.
MK Itzik Shmuli (Labour) took time out from Israelโs pre-election period to visit ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and send a message to all politicians about social responsibility and the need to take positive action.
Shmuli, a long-time social activist, visited the villageโs various units and met with staff, residents and outpatient rehabilitation clients to gain a first-hand impression of village activity and assess the villageโs most pressing needs. ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran welcomes all politicians and looks forward to hosting other MKs who seek to emulate Shmuliโs commitment to bettering the lives of Israelโs most vulnerable population
