Mazal Tov to Yaakov and Aviah!

When Yaakov Abersin came to volunteer at ADI Jerusalem as a high-school senior, most likely he was not concerned with his future wedding plans.

Fast forward five years later. Yaakov and his fiancé Aviah were finalizing plans for their big day and both were concerned with one outstanding detail: making sure that ADI residents, the close friends Yaakov acquired during his years of volunteering, would have proper transportation to Beit Bracha, the events hall in Gush Etzion, the venue for their wedding. Now an IDF soldier set to complete mandatory service in March 2023, Yaakov spent most of his army vacations with his ADI friends, and he wanted to make sure they were able to celebrate with him on this important day in his life.

As a dedicated volunteer, Yaakov was always quick to find creative solutions to unexpected challenges. Now, on the very day of his wedding, once again Yaakov did not hesitate to take matters into his own hands, investing time and money to find available transportation that was accessible and dependable.

Sure enough, thanks to Yaakov’s planning, ADI residents and their accompanying counselors arrived on time to celebrate with Yaakov and Avia, enhancing the joyous atmosphere and bringing special delight to the bride and groom.

Yaakov and Aviah, the consideration and concern for other which you displayed on this most memorable day of your lives should reflect back upon you throughout the years, and bring you continued joy and happiness throughout your lives together.

Mazal Tov!
