Six young girls from ADI Jerusalem celebrated their right of passage from childhood to Bat Mitzvah with a beautiful party on the ADI roof patio overlooking the city of Jerusalem.
Throughout the year, the Bat Mitzvah girls met once a week to learn about the different mitzvot incumbent upon girls at this stage of life and took meaningful day trips to the Western Wall and Rachel’s Tomb, learning about the significance of each location.
Family and friends joined ADI Jerusalem staff and volunteers at the rooftop party where sumptuous refreshments were laid out on a beautiful sweet table. A professional DJ volunteered time to provide music, boys from the Leachayot organization kept spirits up with singing and dancing, and a professional make-up artist made sure that the girls looked their very best. At the end of the day, guests left with personalized magnets curtesy of a professional photographer.
It was a special ending to a special year for our Bat Mitzvah girls, who are certain to remember the event for years to come.
Mazal Tov!
