As a prelude to upcoming summer fun, ADI’s children enjoyed a wonderful day at sea. The organization “Giborim Ktanim” (Little Heroes – an organization that does a great deal for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities), joined forces with 60 yacht owners at Herzliya’s marina, to treat the children, their parents, volunteers and caregivers to a sail on their yachts. The excitement was high and the enjoyment tangible among all involved. The navy sent a ship to participate in the event and, at a festive meal following the boat rides, the Mayor of Herzliya spoke of the privilege he felt at having the opportunity to host such special visitors. A big thanks to “Little Heroes,” who are very big heroes for our kids.
