Last week, a group of students from London’s Jewish Learning Exchange (JLE) visited ADI’s rehabilitative village in the Negev.ย The students were wowed by ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran’s beautiful modern design and how the village –ย powered by ADI’s dedicated and selfless staff and volunteers – allowed the residents to lead full and happy lives. The group was also starstruck when they met the village’s chairman, Major General (Res.) Doron Almog, an Israeliโ war hero and a champion of disability inclusion.ย The students asked many questions about the care of individuals with complex disabilities and inclusion in Israel, and they were very moved by the answers. All of them hope to develop a deeperโ relationship with ADI and spread the word to friends and family in the United Kingdom and beyond.
