Israel’s Queen of Pastry Helps ADI Jerusalem Get Ready for Purim

In honor of the upcoming holiday of Purim, Estella, “The Great Confectioner of Israel,” made a special trip to ADI Jerusalem to bake hamentashen (oznei Haman) with ADI residents.

Internationally known for her expertise in preparing pastries and unique desserts, Estella joined ADI chef Shai Marelsi for an afternoon of baking fun, sharing some of her special secrets with ADI staff and students.

“Keep doing your holy work,” Estalla wrote in the ADI Jerusalem guest book. “Maintain your positive energy. There is a feeling of happiness here at ADI that should not be taken for granted.”


Shlomit Gravesky, ADI Jerusalem CEO, added that, “one of the special things here at ADI Jerusalem is the fact that we enable every student to experience the same activities as their peers, adapting the process to their abilities. Estella came to our center together with her professional staff and made hamentashen with our children. She gave us so much more than a baking lesson and we are so grateful to Estella for the time she spent with us.”
