After completing his visit to Kibbutz Be’eri, one of the communities most harshly affected by the Hamas terrorist infiltration, IDF Spokesperson, Brigadier-General Daniel Hagari stopped in to ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran to visit his brother, Yoni, one of the rehabilitation village’s first residents.

“During these difficult days of fighting, we need to harness the true spirit of Israeli society,” said Hagari. “This place, which I know from the day it was built, expresses the goodness and strength of Israeli society. I am happy to see the great strength that is here and the dedicated care. It gives us a lot of strength and reminds us what we are fighting for.”

Before leaving the rehabilitation village to make his way back to IDF headquarters, Brigadier-General Hagari visited patients in the Harvey and Gloria Kaylie Rehabilitation Medical Center, the first rehabilitation hospital in the Negev region.

ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and the Kaylie Rehabilitation Medical Center are presently involved in intense preparations to receive, treat and care for civilians and soldiers, residents of the south, injured during Operation Iron Swords.
