Less than a month after the official opening of the Harvey and Gloria Kaylie Rehabilitation Medical Center at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, the new Negev facility is already on the map as an international learning center for advanced rehabilitation care and procedures.
Thirty doctors representing major rehabilitation institutions throughout Israel, including Beit Levenstein, Sheba Tel HaShomer, Reut and all major Israeli HMOs, participated this week in a specialized professional conference titled โUse of Ultrasound to Diagnose and Treat Neurological and Musculoskeletal Conditions.โ
Hosted at the new Rehabilitation Medical Center, the conference opened with words of welcome by Mr. Avi Worzman, CEO ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, Dr. Siev-Nir, General Director, Rehabilitation Medical Center and Dr. Shilo Kramer, Director of Rehabilitation and Hospitalization. Keynote speaker Dr. David Spinner, Harvard fellowship-trained physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain physician and lead author of the book, โAtlas of Ultrasound Guided Musculoskeletal Injections,โ captivated with his expertise and taught participants hands-on use of ultrasound, enabling them to utilize what they learned in their own rehabilitative work.
Upon conclusion of the lectures, participants enjoyed a personalized tour of the Rehabilitation Medical Center, making note of the profound consideration and deliberation that went into planning the center and its capacity to provide inclusive, state-of-the-art rehabilitation and medical services.
Future conferences including national and international experts in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation are already being planned.
