The past year has seen an influx of volunteers from Taiwan to ADI as the Taiwanese government began encouraging young people to broaden their horizons by volunteering in Israel. ADI is honored that so many volunteers choose ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran as the recipient of their services and friendship.
As a result of this moving volunteer trend, Sophie Kuo of Taiwan’s GoodTV visited ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran to record for her local television program. Ms. Kuo interviewed Major General (res.) Doron Almong, founder and chairman of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, as well as a number of Taiwanese volunteers, some of whom were also filmed during work with residents.
Additionally, the Taiwanese ambassador to Israel is scheduled to visit ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran in July for a tour of the village and an up-close look at the innovative treatments and technologies.
