At the beginning of September, approximately 60 National Service and Preliminary Military Service volunteers moved into the new residential neighborhood at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran. As the month progressed, a group of international volunteers, arriving at the village for a 6-12 month stay, joined the Israeli team.
The international group dedicates the main part of its day at the village to working with residents, while leisure hours are spent in enriching activities such as touring Israel, learning Hebrew and joining programs intended to strengthen their connection to the village’s growing population.
Additionally, ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran’s recently launched student residential area, opened in conjunction with “Tozeret Ha’Aretz,” has seen an ongoing population increase as students of professions relevant to village activity move into the new neighborhood.
Together, the different groups make up a young, vibrant and diverse community, bringing a fresh and invigorating pioneering spirit to southern Israel in general and the rehabilitation village in particular.
At ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, we excitedly look forward to collaborating towards the advancement of our common goals. The residential neighborhood, located adjacent to the village, is a social statement that broadens the experiences of the target population who call ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran home.
We invite you to join our family and become part of the newly developing community. If you are as student of health-related professions, education, nursing or other correlated fields, you are invited to submit an application via the link: https://tozerethaarez.org.il/adi-negev/, because the Negev is the yardstick through which Israeli society will be gauged.
