ADI Jerusalem welcomed Dr. Sagit Arbel-Alon, chief physician in the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services, for a tour of the educational and rehabilitation center last week.

Dr. Arbel-Alon, accompanied by Shlomit Ilan, Nihad Zarkawi and Anat Sinowi, was hosted by ADI CEO Shlomit Grayevski, VP in Charge of Regulation Moshe Savil, ADI physician Dr. Natali Dichter and ADI Head Nurse Rikki Freilich.

After touring the premises, visiting classes, looking in on therapy sessions and meeting residents, Dr. Arbel-Alon expressed her appreciation and regard for the exemplary care and work that takes place at ADI, as well as her vision of realizing joint dreams in the future.

โ€œMy dream is to establish an Israeli society to care for people with disabilities . . . where people will fight for the right to care for people with disabilities rather than view them as an obligation. No one will say, โ€˜Why are you bringing me these people?โ€™ They will compete for the right to be presented with such an individual. I hope that together we will be able to establish what each of us has dreamed of independently and what we continue to dream of together, the social services nurse who will be the personification of excellence and service.โ€
