COVID-19 UPDATE: March 24, 2020

Very Special Continuing Education

In addition to the hundreds of children and young adults who call our ADI centers home, hundreds more come from across Israel to attend our special education schools every day. With COVID-19 keeping all of our prized pupils away from school, ADIโ€™s incredible special educators and therapists developed a full curriculum of games and activities for parents to implement at home, and recorded videos of exercises for parents to do with their children to ensure that everyone remains on track with their physical therapy goals. The educational staff then reached out to the ADI families to check in on the students and provide personalized instructions as needed.

School may not be in session, but our special education students are always on our minds. Nothing can stop us from helping our amazing ADI reach their greatest potentials!

ADI Hotline Steps Up During Pandemic

As a service to the greater community, ADIโ€™s medical and educational professionals created โ€˜ADI for YOU,โ€™ a dedicated hotline and a wide offering of educational programming that provides assistance, guidance and support for parents of children with disabilities. With unemployment climbing and uncertainty intensifying during this pandemic, the โ€˜ADI for YOUโ€™ hotline (1-800-201-077) has become a lifeline for the families of children with disabilities across Israel, providing high-level support and crucial information about medical and educational resources, health benefits, financial rights, and responsibilities to employers.

If you have a child with disabilities and are in need of support, call us โ€“ ADI is here to support you: 1-800-201-077. We will all get through this together!

Emergency Campaign

The needs of our ADI children cannot be put on hold.

Public support is more important than ever to guarantee that our residents receive their daily respiratory treatments, their many specialized therapies that are critical to their care and development, and the medications and formulas that are not included in Israel’s health basket. With events, visitors, and fundraising meetings on hold, these vital services are in danger.

Though our ADI residents are being distanced from the public to safeguard their health, it is essential that they never feel alone.

DONATE NOW

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
