Building the Negev with Volunteers

ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and the worldwide Builders of Freedom (Bonim Dror) movement recently initiated a new volunteer program at the rehabilitation village, welcoming volunteers from organization branches in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Six amazing volunteers โ€“ Jemma, Kara, Ruth, Rikki, Liron and Siana โ€“ arrived at the village, highly motivated to give and become involved in community work. In addition to regular tasks at the village safari, the energetic group of girls took on another project, volunteering to build wooden sitting areas around the premises.

Not stopping there, the enthusiastic group also joined afternoon activities in conjunction with the schoolโ€™s extended school day program.

The goal of the joint project between ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran and Builders of Freedom is to increase awareness towards volunteering and activism in Israel, both generally and, more specifically, concerning societyโ€™s weaker members.

We are honored to be part of unique projects such as Builders of Freedom, enabling young people from Israel and abroad to join the village and take an active role in advancing our vision to create a better society.

Thank you, girls. We are so proud of you!

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
