Our amazing ADI kids traveled to the Beer Sheva Tennis Center to take part in an excellent program called “Breaking Boundaries.” They met with Paralympic athletes who play wheelchair tennis in international tournaments and took part in several sports and wellness activities that were adapted for individuals in wheelchairs, including hand bikes, bowling, darts, and drum circles. This special program sent a powerful message to our residents and everyone else in attendance: athletes come in all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities, and sports can be enjoyed by anyone who is big on heart.
