ADI’S RESIDENTS SWEETEN THE NEW YEAR

On Erev Rosh Hashana, 23 of ADI Jerusalem’s residents went out with volunteers and National Service girls to sweeten the new year for passers-by near the central bus station.

Each resident and volunteer wore an ADI t-shirt, and was equipped with a plate of apples, a jar of honey and “Shana Tova” greeting cards. From ADI Jerusalem, they went to the bus station area to distribute apples with honey and new year’s wishes to everyone they encountered – religious and secular, young and old, soldiers, tourists and many others.

The experience of going out and giving of yourself was great for the residents, for indeed, everyone has something to give.

All returned back to the center happy and smiling, and ready to start the new year!
