In keeping with the fundamental ideals of social responsibility, equity and inclusivity that characterize the ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran rehabilitation village, ADI representatives met with Yossi Dadosh, chair of the Israeli Injured Workers Association, and Evans Alush, the association’s Southern Region Director, to share professional knowledge regarding construction and operation of a hydrotherapy swimming pool.
The Israel Injured Workers Association is presently constructing a hydrotherapy pool in the southern town of Be’er Sheva, and though final construction is still a few months away, Association officials felt that now was the time to garner professional guidance and instruction regarding pool operation and upkeep.
Avi Wortzman, CEO of ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, Yishai Segal, Deputy Director for Development, Construction and Procurement, and Dr. Yitzhak Ziv Nir, medical director of the new Neuro-Orthopedic Rehabilitation Hospital nearing completion within the rehabilitation village complex, met with Dadosh and Arush this week in Be’er Sheva to launch the professional cooperation which enable the hydrotherapy pool to function with maximum benefit for people with employment-incurred disabilities.
At meeting’s end, it was agreed that Dadosh, Alush and other senior members of the Israel Association for Injured Workers will visit ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran for an up-close look at the hydrotherapy pool, its operation and upkeep.
