ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran Maintaining Routine Under Fire

In just 36 hours, more than 1,000 rockets have been fired into Israel from Gaza, and ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran – located just 40 km (25 miles) from the Gaza Strip – is in the line of fire.

As always, ADI’s dedicated professional staff and volunteers are going above and beyond to keep our residents with severe disabilities safe, happy and calm. All beds were moved into ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran’s many reinforced rooms and all activities during waking hours are taking place in the same protected spaces.  These shelters are all equipped with the necessary medical equipment and supplies to provide our residents with their daily medical treatments and respond appropriately to any emergency situations.

The ADI staff and volunteers are doing a wonderful job explaining the situation to the residents and helping them stick to their routines, bringing a sense of order and normalcy to an otherwise worrisome and chaotic situation.

We pray for a quick and permanent resolution to this escalation in violence.
