Nineteen-year-old Rivka Tzeva of Modi’in, a second-year National Service volunteer at ADI Negev-Nahalat Eran, was voted national Outstanding National Service Volunteer from among all volunteers serving in the Bat Ami organization.
This year, Rikva serves in the village’s High Dependency Unit, selflessly assisting children and young adults with severe medical conditions live more comfortable, quality lives. Last year, Rivka helped set new standards of volunteerism as one of the first volunteers to work in the newly opened Harvey and Gloria Kaylie Rehabilitation Medical Center.
“Working as a National Service volunteer at the village brings immense satisfaction,” says Rivka. “I go to work happily, knowing that today will never be like yesterday. Service at the village requires creativity and provides many opportunities for personal expression and initiative.”
