ADI Jerusalem Welcomes Mayor Moshe Lion

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion visited ADIโ€™s residential facility in Jerusalem to learn about ADIโ€™s high-level medical and rehabilitative care and what weโ€™re doing to promote true disability inclusion and equity in Israel and around the world.

Shlomit Grayevsky, director of ADI Jerusalem, took Mayor Lion and his entourage on a tour of the facility, pointing out the specially-designed living quarters, high-tech special education classrooms and top-of-the-line rehabilitation rooms, as well as all of the other tools used to provide the residents with a continuum of loving care from infancy and childhood through adulthood.

โ€œAfter what I just saw, I am absolutely speechless. There are no words for what Iโ€™m feeling right now,โ€ said Mayor Lion following the tour. โ€œThe work done by the ADI staff and volunteers is intensive and emotionally difficult but incredibly meaningful, and I am in awe of all of you. You are all clearly remarkable people with special souls, who will be rewarded richly in the World to Come. It is very special that there is a place like this here in Jerusalem that sets the tone for what we should value in life and how we should treat others.โ€

We need your support!

By donating to ADI Israel, YOU will help us meet our goal to enable each child, regardless of the severity of disability.
