The Knesset marked International Day of Persons with Disabilities with a conference under the heADIng “Seeing Good,” during which ADI Jerusalem received recognition with a special award.
MK Yehuda Glick initiated the event: “Today we recognize women, men and organizations who strive to increase goodness and see the good in Israeli society.”
Members of Knesset, public officials and approximately 450 citizens from all over the country came to show appreciation to the various organizations who help the spread light of goodness.
ADI Jerusalem provides medical, educational and rehabilitative care to numerous children and young adults with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities and additional complex medical issues. Characterized by high levels of humanitarianism and professionalism as well as by an ongoing pursuit for new technology and advancement, ADI Jerusalem is active in every possible area. ADI’s caregiving, educational and medical staff spares no effort in their endeavors to develop additional, modern methods that will contribute to the progress and advancement of the young children studying and residing at the ADI facility.
The Israeli government recognized these efforts and ADI Jerusalem’s contribution to society with an award on this special day.
