ADI Jerusalem mourns the loss of Yoni Brand

נר זכרון ודגל ישראל Memorial candle and Israeli flag

Yoni, an 18 year-old resident of Jerusalem, was an active and beloved volunteer at ADI Jerusalem throughout all four years of high school. Even after he was drafted by the IDF, Yoni continued to join ADI events whenever possible and regularly checked in on the residents and special education students.

Last week, Yoni was killed in battle by Hamas terrorists. He was buried in an IDF cemetery and honored as a hero for valiantly protecting the land and people of Israel.

We join Yoni’s family as they mourn the loss of this kindhearted and loving soul. May they know no more sadness, and may they be comforted among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
