ADI Jerusalem Celebrates 20 Years!

Hundreds of people gathered to mark 20 years since the founding of ADI Jerusalem.  Since its founding, the center has brought love and light into the lives of hundreds of babies, children and young adults with severe intellectual and developmental disabilities, and their families.

The evening, held at the Israel Center for Excellence in Education, was attended by Yehuda Marmorstein, national CEO of ADI, Shlomit Greyevsky, director of ADI Jerusalem, representatives of all ADI centers, directors from the Ministry of Welfare and Ministry of Education, public officials, staff, family, volunteers and friends of ADI.

The evening included awarding certificates of appreciation to volunteers and staff in appreciation of their hard work and dedication, followed by an astounding performance by Nimrod Harel, Perception Artist and Master Mentalist.

Shlomit Greyevsky remarked, “We chose to celebrate 20 years since the establishment of ADI Jerusalem close to the beginning of the month of Shevat. [We were] a small leaf with only a few branches, which grew and took root, sprouting many leaves and branches. Groups of people, some due to their life reality and some by choice, intertwined their fates and committed to seeing each individual as created in G-d’s image, to believe in their right and their abilities to realize and fulfill their maximum potential.”

ADI Jerusalem looks forward to continued growth and success, caring for and providing a warm and loving home for residents and their families in the future.

We need your support!
